I'm Cain Stowe, a recording engineer specializing in music, game audio, and post production. Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, I graduated from Mandeville High School and attended Louisiana State University, where I studied business for two years before redirecting toward audio. I transferred to Full Sail University's on-campus program, earned my associate degree in Audio Production, and am currently completing my bachelor's in Recording Arts.

My primary platform is Pro Tools, where I work efficiently across the full production chain, including tracking, editing, comping, timing correction through Beat Detective and Elastic Audio, automation, and final mix delivery. For interactive projects I work in Wwise, handling middleware implementation, event and state design, and the creation of assets built to hold up under repeated playback. My post production experience covers dialogue editing, Foley, sound design, and final mixdown to spec.

I approach every project with the understanding that technical execution and creative intent are not separate concerns. A mix has to be clean, properly gain staged, and delivered to the correct standard. It also has to serve the material. My aim is always to produce work that meets professional standards while supporting what the project is trying to communicate.

I'm currently seeking opportunities in music production, game audio implementation, and post production sound. Please review the work, and feel free to reach out to discuss a project.
